"A-HA"
March 6th - April 24th, 2010
Curated by Inger Tully, curator of exhibitions at The Contemporary Museum in Honolulu, "A-HA" features six artists currently living on the Hawaiian islands of Oahu and Maui: Eli Baxter, Jaisy Hanlon, Vince Hazen, Ryan Higa, Wendy Kawabata and Christopher Reiner.
Utilizing unusual materials and processes to create their pieces the artists’ choice of media is often specific to their underlying concept or idea. The resulting works in two and three dimensions are, as the title "A-HA" suggests, both surprising and unexpected.
